As a Project Manager at Champion Door, you will oversee the successful execution of large-scale industrial door projects for aviation, marine, mining, and industrial applications worldwide. Champion Door specializes in fabric fold-up doors designed for aircraft hangars, shipyards, craneways, and other demanding environments. In this role, you will ensure that these custom-engineered doors are delivered to customers on time, on budget, and according to specifications.

Your work will involve leading international projects from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring smooth communication between sales, engineering, production, and installation teams. You will be responsible for technical documentation, project timelines, and logistics, making sure that all necessary approvals, permits, and financial aspects are in order. Overall, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the project’s advancement and ensuring that everything is executed seamlessly.

We hope you have:

Previous relevant work experience – for example in project management, engineering, or technical sales
Technical background, either through education or hands-on experience
Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Excellent English skills (both spoken and written); Finnish and German are a plus
Good skills in Excel and Microsoft Projects or similar project management tools
Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related site visits
Additionally valuable skills:

Understanding of international business environments and different cultural working styles
Experience with design software (e.g., Vertex) or similar tools

Salary in this position is approximately 3800-4500 €/month and will be negotiated individually.

Practicalities:

This is a full-time, permanent position, and Champion Door will employ you directly. Your primary location can be Nivala or Oulu, with flexible remote work options. The role requires occasional international travel. We hope you can start working as soon as possible; however, the exact starting date is negotiable.
