Haahtela is now looking for a DevOps Specialist to join their team in Helsinki. As a DevOps Specialist you will be part of the Technology Platform & Architecture team of four professionals. Together with your colleagues, you will get to work with the operations and development of the service delivery infrastructure of the new product released in 2021 – Haahtela TVD\u00ae.<\/p>\n
Haahtela TVD\u00ae is Haahtela’s own simulation model for the construction and real estate industry. With the help of Haahtela TVD\u00ae, the goals of a construction project can be set according to the client\u2019s preferences and priorities, such as costs, schedules, quality as well as environmental considerations. Haahtela TVD\u00ae is a revolutionary product that has been carefully developed over recent years. Your tasks will include e.g. software development, new functions creation and maintenance.<\/p>\n
As a DevOps Specialist, you will get a great opportunity to learn and deepen your skills in DevOps technologies. Currently, Haahtela is operating with its own private OpenStack instance for the development work. The production version of Haahtela TVD\u00ae is running on Linux virtual servers in multiple OpenStack clouds. The stack includes Ansible, Python, Docker, Open API and GRPC technologies. The next major step in the infrastructure evolution is already underway, the backend of Haahtela TVD\u00ae will be migrated to Kubernetes.<\/p>\n

We expect you to have:
\n-Previous work experience in DevOps practices and tools
\n-Expertise in Linux system administration
\n-Python programming skills
\n-Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate in a team
\n-Fluent skills in English language<\/p>\n
We consider as an asset:
\n-Relevant educational background (BSc \/ MSc), e.g. in Computer Science or Software Engineering or in a related technical discipline
\n-Skills in container technologies, especially in Kubernetes
\n-Previous experience of working with Scrum methodology, GIT based source code control, or planning and documenting of work with Atlassian Jira & Confluence.
\n-Skills in Finnish language<\/p>\n
