Moffett – a cutting-edge automation company specialized in automated warehousing solutions – is now looking for a motivated and independent Automation Software Engineer to work remotely from Finland and join the growing team of 50 professionals!<\/p>\n
As an Automation Software Engineer, your goal is to develop Moffett\u2019s automated warehousing solutions together with the team of seven software engineers. Moffett has developed its software fully in-house and it is largely about reading sensors, controlling motors and actuators according to orders from the control system. Thus, your daily tasks are versatile and you contribute to a full cycle of automation development, including programming, developing algorithms, testing new solutions and analyzing and utilizing the data. In addition to improving Moffett\u2019s current solutions, you will also get an opportunity to take part in R&D and develop new solutions together with the team. The role can be modified according to your strenghts and interests – for example, you can excel in project management tasks in client projects or peek into integration projects, if you wish. Moffett uses agile methods and the key stack includes C#, .NET Core & .NET 6, Linux, SQL and REST API.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t expect you to know all of the technologies in our stack beforehand, but our ideal candidate has gained some previous experience working with C#. Moffet is an Ireland-based company and right now, there are two other employees working remotely from Finland. In the future, Moffett may also have an office base in Finland, but at the moment the work is done remotely, so we are looking for talents who are eager to take ownership of their work and work both independently and as part of a remote team. As a person, we hope you have a curious attitude with an interest towards automation solutions.<\/p>\n

We hope you have:
\n– Previous work experience from relevant tasks
\n– Solid skills in C# – knowledge in other technologies in the stack is seen as an advantage
\n– Agile oriented mindset and a strong capability to understand and develop algorithms
\n– Experience and \/ or interest in working with automated solutions
\n– Full working proficiency in English<\/p>\n
